In 2019, to celebrate the festival and the launch of JAMS, we held a small, local writing competition. We invited open-themed, creative fiction entries in three age categories: 7 to 11, 12 to 17 and adults. Dickens Heath Parish Council kindly donated the prize money for the children's competitions.
