We can conjecture that their unfinished nature responds to the lack of resources that could be destined to the production of the magazine, or simply to the lack of expertise of the illustrators, perhaps students of drawing and painting at the school itself. Another possible reading the grant of artistic intentionality, a sign of \"rebelliousness\" against the prevailing type of illustration back then.
