Pareceu-lhe, portanto, que, com as duas publicações, pessoas que, entendendo Português, quisessem exercitar sua leitura em Inglês, poderiam ler, crônica por crônica, primeiro no livro em Português e, a seguir, no livro em Inglês. Certainly, it would facilitate the reading comprehension. The author considers that publishing the chronicles in both languages, side by side, the Portuguese language readers will be able to exercise their reading comprehension in English, chronicle by chronicle, reading first in Portuguese and then subsequently in English. Similarly, the English language readers will be able to practice their Portuguese reading comprehension in the same manner.
