Adofo, the King's son, bravely celebrates his performance during rites of passage. However, not knowing the actual test of survival and proving his worthiness to become King lurks perilously beyond the horizon. The King's actions put his young noble and charismatic son's life in jeopardy by white slavers, unforeseen, and treacherous forces. A beautiful and high-spirited young Shakima reenters his life and assists the prince in his uncertain future. This novel will appeal to educated adult readers with an interest in African History.
