They lessen the pressure of life. Like me, you may forget to worry when you see: The mountain\/half in sunshine\/half in shade\/did I come late. All my poems are original, many were inspired by the likes of Basho and other Haiku poets.\u003cbr\u003ePoem writing is a sort of escapism, your mind wander at will. You find beauty in nature, like a walk in the park, in the dark on a chilly winter night. You also come to appreciate botanical gardens, flowers in bloom, some like the cherry blossoms, long gone, the scent still in the air.\u003cbr\u003eI hope this book inspires you to read and write.
