I would not call this book complete, but I will say it is satisfying to know this much about my heritage thought to be lost. What I knew I had at the beginning of this project was the long past family tree of New France and my recent family history. What's in-between is a 'spaghetti bowl' of records I couldn't sort. It would take six years to find a focus. I would search for the places my ancestors lived that apparently was not Canada but was exactly the places on the map of the 1755 Deportation of the Acadians.
