All pre-1861 marriages are set forth and, where feasible and convenient (primarily because of cutoff dates of the original books), the authors have also included many later records as well. \u003cstrong\u003eThe information in the Brides Book (Volume II), is a duplication of that in the Grooms, the difference being in the order in which they appear.\u003c\/strong\u003e Each volume is a single area-wide alphabetical listing of the records. Each entry includes the names of the bride and groom, the date the marriage license was issued, the date the marriage was solemnized, and the county in which the marriage was executed.
