This global leadership shortfall in the NPOs which resulted in significant leadership demands made this study crucial. In this qualitative descriptive research, Dr. Emmanuel A. Peter explored the perceptions of the NPO leaders about the value of EI (Emotional Intelligence on leadership strategies in the City of Richmond, Virginia. The study findings revealed that EI was not new to NPO leaders in Richmond.
