Her\u003cbr\u003e other honors and awards include: Certificate of Award in Journalism; Special\u003cbr\u003e Achievement Award; and Letter of Commendation.\u003cbr\u003e Mary's artistic honors and awards include: World of Poetry, (4) Golden Poet Awards\u003cbr\u003e and (1) Honorable Mention Award; publication as Photo Finalist in Photographer\u003cbr\u003e Forum Magazine Annual Edition; Certificate of Merit, for Outstanding Lyric Writing\u003cbr\u003e from Talent \u0026amp; Associated and Caldora Music Publishing Companies; also Poetry\u003cbr\u003e Honorable Mention, Write-On Magazine.\u003cbr\u003e After an unfortunate disability, Mary decided to combine her talents to start her\u003cbr\u003e own business. This was the birth of her book entitled \"Etchings on My Mind\" and\u003cbr\u003e her yet to be published greeting card line, \"Emotions Greetings Plus.\" Currently, \u003cbr\u003e Mary is in the process of producing her greetings in preparation for publication and\u003cbr\u003e sale. \"Etchings on My Mind\" can be found in bookstores and online everywhere.\u003cbr\u003e Mary has strived to be successful at these endeavors, despite the many stumbling\u003cbr\u003e blocks thrown in her path. She has been a beacon of hope to many family\u003cbr\u003e members, friends, and others throughout her adult life; through sharing of her\u003cbr\u003e knowledge and life experiences, she has witnessed. She plans to expand her\u003cbr\u003e horizon to a novelty business in the future. She envisions so many ways to bring\u003cbr\u003e joy into many people's lives and soothe their latent pains.
