Heyen's poetry has explored world history, from Nature, to\u003cbr\u003eNative Americans, to the Holocaust and the atom bomb, the Iraq Wars, to the\u003cbr\u003eBritish Royals. His driving, eclectic force is unmatched in contemporary\u003cbr\u003epoetry. Heyen presents another entry into his Holocaust opus, \u003ci\u003eThe Nazi\u003cbr\u003ePatrol. \u003c\/i\u003eH. L. Hix's work is also inextricably involved with the world, as\u003cbr\u003eseen in a recent collection, \u003ci\u003eAmerican Anger\u003c\/i\u003e, which explores the\u003cbr\u003epsychology of rage underneath recent political turmoil, and \u003ci\u003eGod Bless\u003c\/i\u003e, \u003cbr\u003eadapted from the speeches of George W.
