He has written and helped write a number of British Standards covering many aspects of fire safety and protection. However, he has not just stayed with fire safety. He is an accomplished guitarist, cook, and has even spent a spell as owner of a bar in Key West, Florida. Today, he is a joint owner of the specialist fire engineering consultancy - Fire Cubed LLP.
