Transgender rights were furthermore protected by the US Supreme Court, as employers can no longer legally fire individuals for being Transgender.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eThe BLM movement expanded and made its mark in the country, and the world, uniting people of all races to bring unity and equality to all. The momentum from this movement led to a historic participation of the Black community in 2020 elections.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eUS Carbon Emissions dropped by 10% which is the biggest annual decline since WWII. This sets our emissions goals back on track to reduce global emissions.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003ePink Dolphins, considered an endangered species, were once again seen in Hong Kong shores due to the decline in human marine activity which suggests their species is slowly restoring. Penguin population in Galapagos increased.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ol\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eWhile I know none of these things take away from the mess 2020, I wrote this book with the intention of teaching children about overcoming adversity and about what kind of world is possible when people (in this case animals) work together.
