He did sosaku hanga, self prints and was a strong proponent of them.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eKoizumi is best known for his great series \u003cem\u003eShowa dai Tokyo hyaku zue\u003c\/em\u003e - One Hundred Views of Great Tokyo in the Showa Era, which he carved and printed himself between 1928 and 1940.
