Twelve of them (12 poems of Desert Storm) were written two before deploying, and ten during deployment to Desert Storm (1990-91). All are based on actual true stories, conditions, and events. Some of these 100 poems have been published in the U.S. National Library of Poetry's annual anthologies!This book of poems includes a comprehensive INDEX in chronological order with the poem name, date, or approximate date it was written and the Genre\/Remarks about each poem. Also, at the end of each poem, there is a brief author's description of what the poem is about to help the reader better understand each poem and the author's intent. This book includes poem number-4, \"TIME'S WHISPERING WINDS,\" which I entered into Yale University's Bicentennial Poetry Contest in 1990 and won a Literate Scholarship from Yale University.
