This book describes the synthesis and isolation of silver, mercury, ruthenium and palladium complexes of bidentate NHCs, derived from imidazolium-linked cyclophanes and related bis-imidazolium salts. The complexes have been characterised by NMR spectroscopy and X-ray crystallography.
