Many of the subjects in 2001 were in their eighties if not nineties and now 13 years later many now no longer will be with us. The wartime battle against Hitler and the rise of facism showed how young many of the service personnel were then. The majority were in their teenage years. Its shocking to think that when the children came of age they were busy fighting a foreign foe.
