Due to the hurt, anger and loss of trust I had in others, I grew very short and callous in some areas of my life. There was a little girl in me crying to be healed and a heart that wanted to love but didn't know how to. The poems in this book are a collection of thoughts and emotions of hurt, pain, loss, realization and growth. The love of God was able to break through the walls that I had spent all my life building up.
