On March 12, Greenwich Public Schools closed. On March 20, CT Governor Ned Lamont started, \"Stay Home, Stay Safe\" directing all non-essential businesses to close on March 23. My husband and I sheltered in place. Our son stayed in his apartment nearby. Our daughter, son-in-law, and granddaughters (ages 2.9 and 2 months) were locked down in their home in Westport.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e Writer's Digest Magazine sponsors a Poem-A-Day Challenge every April, in celebration of National Poetry Month. Every morning a prompt is posted on their website, and writers are invited to use any form to create a poem based on that prompt; posting it on Poetic Asides is optional.
