This was my experience as a Humanities major student at California State University, Dominguez Hills, in Carson, California. I graduated with my MA degree in 2002, three years after retiring from the US Army. Since I kept all my graduate papers for the past 25 years, and I'm long in years, having no need or reason to keep all these academic essays, it seemed that it would be a waste not to update them and share these perspectives with current and future students of philosophy, religion, and the humanities overall. Despite my original work being nearly a quarter of a century old, I took some weeks to update what I could, within reason, so that these collective works meet the needs of modern (as of 2025) academic educators and students. In other words, in some of these essays, I explored the impact of technology, especially artificial intelligence, on questions like \"Are People Machines?\" That paper received particularly positive comments from the professor, and he asked if he could use it in his future classes. I received the same positive and flattering comments on an essay I wrote about the Vietnam War.
