Data were collected\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003ethrough participant self-report of information using a retrospective questionnaire on perceived\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003echildhood discipline and abuse, resiliency, and posttraumatic growth. Specifically, the Emotional\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eand Physical Abuse Questionnaire (EPAB) served as the abuse measure. The Predictive 6-Factor\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eResilience Scale (PR6) was used to measure resilience, while the Posttraumatic Growth\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eInventory (PTGI) measured posttraumatic growth. Results revealed that mild and severe\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003ephysical abuse as well as greater degrees of emotional abuse were significantly positively\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eassociated with\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eposttraumatic growth.
