After a long time, I have made up my\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003emind to share and spread my piece of art with other readers since it\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003etouches my heart to be able to connect with people across the world\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003ethrough the complex human emotions that bind us together.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eAlso, the subject of my work deals with topics that may be considered\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003etaboo, such as the matter of sex and the way society tries to suppress\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003ethe real feelings of an individual personality.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eMoreover, the concerns highlighted through the poems also include\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003ediscrimination and exploitation on the basis of gender such as\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eblackmailing gullible and naïve women through digital dating apps, by\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eexposing their intimate moments on the internet.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eMore abhorrent, unvoiced but still rampant themes such as child sexual\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eabuse and the vicious repercussions that they leave on the victim have\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003ealso been stated in a downright, distinct manner, so that the reader\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003emay become aware of the circumstances by which the victim becomes\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003ereluctant to name the exact nature of wrongs that have been\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003ecommitted against her\/him, perhaps because the culprit might be\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003esomeone known and close.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eBesides, the pain, shame and the misery that he\/she undergoes, and\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003emight have to live with all his\/her life, without having someone to\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003econfide to has been depicted with the necessary despair and anguish.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eInstead of name shaming and questioning the victim itself, I have tried\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eto plead the audience to be more empathetic and supportive in order\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eto minimize their plight.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eAlso, as a recovering addict, I have tried to portray the road to sobriety\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eas clearly as possible, thereby clearing common misconceptions that\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003estill lie deep seeded within the minds of the common man. Most people\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eare not aware of the pain and dark emotions that propel the addict into\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003etaking narcotics to deal with the same.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eI have also made clear how the society is also responsible, to a certain\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eextent, in aiding the problems of the addict by constant name shaming\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eand the propagation of guilt and shame. All this, for a disease that can\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eimpact any one's life; a disease about which they don't have a choice.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eOn the other hand, it's not just the so called \"grim and dark\" issues that\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003ehave been covered within the ambit of the stoems. You shall find plenty\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eof stoems covering sexuality and intimacy with a tinge of humor and\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003esarcasm, the main context being how the physical part of the relation\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eacts as a critical foundation for a better, meaningful bond.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eAll through the stoems, I have been bold and emphatic in dealing with\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003evarious different genres which cannot be necessarily boxed into a one-\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003esize-fits-all category. The tone is vigorous and undeniably insistent on\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003ebeing real and honest so that we can become more open minded about\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eissues that need to be brought from the backburner into the limelight\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003esimply because they are an essential component of life, without which\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003elife would be empty and meaningless.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eI expect people to be able to enjoy their real desires without being\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003esubjected to ill will and demonization.
