Is the gospel offer truly sincere for all? And what is the true source of a believer's eternal certainty?

In this detailed analysis, Bill Fortenberry offers a biblically grounded alternative that respects the whole counsel of Scripture and affirms both divine initiative and genuine human choice. The BIBLE and the TULIP systematically dissects the famous TULIP framework and counters it with the BIBLE.

The BIBLE Framework: A Coherent Path to Redemption

This book builds a robust theology of grace that honors God's character and the integrity of the gospel, structuring salvation around five core biblical truths:

Basic Ability vs. Total Depravity: Upholds that while fallen, humanity retains the capacity to hear the Word of God and genuinely respond to the gospel message, affirming the validity of the command to repent.

Individual Soul Liberty vs. Unconditional Election: Recognizes God's sovereign choice to grant every individual the genuine freedom to accept or reject the pardon He has provided.

Benevolent Atonement vs. Limited Atonement: Establishes that Christ's sufficient sacrifice was intended for all and offered to the entire world, fully reflecting the boundless scope of God's love.

Limited Mercy vs. Irresistible Grace: Demonstrates that God's powerful grace works through persuasion, not irresistible force, and that persistent resistance to the Spirit's call can lead to a time when God's mercy is withdrawn.

Eternal Security vs. Perseverance of the Saints: Affirms that salvation is immediate and eternally certain the moment a soul places faith in Christ, resting entirely on His finished work and not on a lifetime of human performance.

A Scriptural Challenge to Traditional Views

The Calvinist TULIP system, while offering one set of answers, requires constant interpretive gymnastics to reconcile God's revealed character with doctrines that limit the scope of His grace and atonement. If Calvinism is true, the plea for sinners to repent becomes nothing more than a cruel charade.

By embracing the BIBLE framework, you will move past the uncertainty that plagues the Calvinist view and discover a theology that preserves the sincerity of the gospel invitation, the justice of human condemnation, and the absolute assurance of salvation for every believer. You can then believe and preach the gospel with full confidence, knowing that Christ died for all men and that the offer is genuinely available to whosoever will.

Author: Bill Fortenberry
ISBN-13: 9798268992854
Publisher: Independently Published
Language: English
Published: 10/08/2025
Pages: 60
Format: Paperback
Weight: 0.21lbs
Size: 9.00h x 6.00w x 0.14d
