Simply put, even when it comes to sex, God has certain requirements and certain restrictions. It is a demand for purity. Likewise, this verse serves as proof that sexual relations are and can be wholesome.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThen, we can also look at \u003cstrong\u003e1\u003csup\u003est\u003c\/sup\u003e Corinthians 7:3\u003c\/strong\u003e, which states, \u003cem\u003e\"Let the husband render to his wife the affection due her, and likewise the wife also to her husband.\" \u003c\/em\u003eThis verse not only validates and restates God's approval, but it also shows that proper sexual relations between a husband and wife are encouraged through the Word of God. Spouses have an obligation to maintain a healthy sex life so that neither partner will be tempted to go outside of the marriage to find sexual fulfillment.
