The aim of this study was to compare three serological techniques for the detection of anti-toxoplasmic IgG. Our study was carried out between January and April 2023, collecting 53 sera from pregnant women tested by the following techniques: ECLIA (Elecsys(R) Toxo IgG), quantitative ELISA (PlateliaTM Biorad), semi-quantitative ELISA (PlateliaTMTestline) and Blot-line Toxoplasma IgG. The average age of our patients was 29   3.9 years. Serologies were requested during their first pregnancies (72%), in primiparous women (51%) and in 67% during the first trimester. ECLIA and quantitative and semi-quantitative ELISA showed complete agreement (p=1), but IgG titres by ECLIA were higher. On the other hand, almost perfect agreement (P= 0.947) was found when comparing ECLIA and Western Blot. ECLIA appears to be the most sensitive of the techniques studied.
