Listening to learners articulate the metacognitive strategies that they use while translating, together with their functions and reasons, will add to our information about this complex task of translation. Moreover, investigating the impact of different factors, such as language proficiency, intelligence, and general texts versus specific ones, as well as different types of translation testing, will cast some light on the blurry field of translation.
