The main aim of this study was to evaluate publications on antibiotic control in hospital pharmacies. Data was collected from the following scientific databases: Latin American and Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences (LILACS), National Library of Medicine (PUBMED), Virtual Health Library (BVS), Scientific Electronic Library Online (SCIELO). The following descriptors were used (DECS\/MESH): ANTIBIOTICS CONTROL, HOSPITALPHARMACY, BACTERIAL RESISTANCE in English, Portuguese and Spanish. This search used the papers on antibiotic control in hospital pharmacies that best suited the objective.
