He received a BA in Psychology and Philosophy from SUNY at Buffalo (UB) and his Master's Degree in Information Technology from Regis University in Colorado. After serving for four years in the United States Air Force Security Service (Military Intelligence) as a Chinese linguist, he returned home from Asia to own and operate various businesses as well as work for other employers.
