There's so much happening on our planet right now, isn't there? We have found ourselves in a unique nexus, and this has created for us an opportunity- an opportunity to see our world with new eyes, to question how we've been living, to question how we've been allowing ourselves to be governed, to question the experts and authorities whose advice we've been listening to and following, and to question our current models and modes of living. Critical thinking is back, baby! Some of us are realizing for the first time how subservient we've been and are beginning to wonder why we've not been exercising our liberties and living the lives we've wanted to live. We have a chance here to break down old systems that were not serving us and build new ones. We have to be willing to be explorers once again- to leave behind our old models and journey out to the unknown. Humanity, adventure awaits us! The following poems are meant to re-awaken critical thinking skills. Maybe reading them will make you feel something emotionally that you will feel the need to explore within yourself? Maybe reading them will make you question something that you were believing and inspire you to look deeper for answers? Maybe you will enjoy reading them and feel that I am a kindred spirit? Maybe you won't like them and you'll have to think about why that is? In any case, I felt called to write them and share them with you all. Perhaps there is a message in one of my poems that will speak to you, or perhaps not?
