2099: Good Girls, Bad Boys - A Message From the Future (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798309940608)

The world has undergone a drastic transformation, no longer resembling its former self. Following two devastating pandemics orchestrated by the enigmatic Anonymous Organization, the global population has been decimated to the brink of extinction. Now, the fate of the entire planet lies in the hands of the leaders of this enigmatic group, who have enslaved the remaining survivors.

The once vibrant and bustling major cities have been transformed into fortified prisons, with strict control imposed on all inhabitants. No one is allowed to leave the confines of these urban strongholds, as the new masters exert their authority with an iron grip. However, not all hope is lost, as scattered groups of rebels have managed to evade capture and seek refuge in remote locations such as forests, caves, and abandoned cities.

Each enclave of rebels is engaged in a fierce struggle for survival, defying the oppressive rule of the Anonymous Organization. Despite the overwhelming odds stacked against them, these brave individuals continue to resist and fight for their freedom, determined to reclaim their world from the clutches of tyranny.

The enclave of Eliza Witter, now a revered elderly woman, is nestled in a town that has been abandoned since the mid-20th century. Eliza's granddaughter, Inga, leads the group tasked with safeguarding the enclave. Their primary objective is to monitor, evade, and protect themselves from the frequent incursions of the Organization's patrols, who persistently seek to locate and apprehend free individuals. However, Inga is not content with merely fending off the patrols' attacks. She aspires to liberate the world from the Organization's grasp. The time is approaching when humanity will finally uncover the true identities of the Organization's members.
