25 To Life: How Federal Prison Changed My Life Forever (Hardcover) (ISBN-13: 9798896759973)

Step inside the walls of America's most dangerous federal prisons-ADX Florence, MDC Brooklyn, USP Big Sandy, FCI Dublin, and FCI Englewood-through the eyes of a man who lived it for more than twenty-five years.

This is a raw, riveting true-life account of what it means to be a federal correctional officer, lieutenant, and captain in places most people wouldn't survive a single day. Experience the chaos, the violence, and the daily battles that push the limits of the human mind, body, and soul.

From supermax to Big Sandy, from lockdowns to riots, every shift could be the last. You'll stand shoulder-to-shoulder with officers who never know if they'll make it home at the end of the night, and you'll see the toll that life behind bars takes long after the gates close.

Recognized and honored by the Director of the Bureau of Prisons for twenty-five years of dedicated service, I pull no punches in revealing the truth of life inside the federal system-the fear, the loyalty, the trauma, and the unbreakable brotherhood that few will ever understand.

Prepare to step inside my head.

Once you do, you may never look at a correctional worker the same way again.
