Steve Keeler was born in Canada as the first descendant of the fifth living generation in the Keeler family. He is the oldest of four boys. They all played hockey for a living at one time or another. Steve came to The United States on a hockey scholarship at the University of Denver and he's been here ever since. After hockey, Keeler was fortunate in business, pursuing a long and viable career that began at Ralston Purina Corporation, with stops at Campbell Soup Company, Duraflame Incorporated and the Omnicom Media Group. Steve, his brother Bob Keeler, and a partner started the Keeler Marketing Group in 1980 and the company has operated under that banner in one form or another, ever since. Steve and/or the firm, has represented or worked on sales and marketing projects and ventures for many blue-chip clients and partners. Keeler has probably worn more professional hats than any man I have ever met. He has held executive sales and marketing positions in the consumer products industry, he's been an advertising executive and he spent 10 years as a highly successful, independent sponsor broker on the IndyCar circuit. Steve and his brother Bob represented the Department of Commerce and the U.S. Fisheries after beating out a dozen national ad agencies for the esteemed account. Keeler consulted for the nation's top manufacturer of upscale granite mausoleums and sold more custom estate buildings in three years than most sales executives register in a lifetime in that industry. He created and ran the Indy Ski Challenge in Vail, Colorado - an elite event for the drivers, owners and sponsors on the IndyCar circuit and celebrity athletes from other sports. Today, Keeler has added the title of 'published author' to his exceptionally diverse list of career credentials.
