4 Steps to Healthy: A Parenting Guide (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9781500727093)

Dr. Heidi Moore was born in Soldotna, Alaska and remembers childhood as a magical time of mountains, moose and snowy walks to the bus stop. She began writing as a young child and still has her first short story which was bound in yellow construction paper with staples and scotch tape, "The girl who always said no." Her early inspiration to write more seriously came during late childhood from a pediatrician who encouraged her to keep a diary. As she continued through high school and college, she became interested in the mechanics of telling a story, how to engage a reader and how to tell a story that mattered. Dr. Moore currently works to balance a writing life and her career as a pediatrician.
