Born in California, Dr. Les Young spent most of his life in Connecticut, with college, military duty, and mission trips the notable exceptions. His background is rich and varied, ranging from volunteer firefighter/EMT to CEO of a large independent insurance agency to commander of an Army Combat Engineer Company to pastor of a local church. Together with his wife Barb, he has three children and six grandchildren. Educationally, he has a Bachelor's from Gettysburg College, a Master's from Duke, and a Doctorate in Biblical Studies from Master's International School of Divinity. Passionate about the Word of God along with a desire to instill that passion in others, he has found a perfect fit as Director of Covenant Bible College's satellite campus at Calvary Church in Johnson City, TN.
