Lawson is the Senior Pastor of the historic First Baptist Church, Ardmore, OK. He and his wife, Michelle, are both educators and life-long learners. Dr. Lawson is committed to educating the body of Christ. He is currently an instructor at Gateway Seminary and former Associate Professor and Chair of the Adult School of Public Administration at Mid-America Christian University both in Oklahoma. He has been in ministry for over 37 years. He and Michelle have been married for 39 years and have three adult children and 11 grandchildren that keep them busy.
