Steve Litt, L.C.S.W. is a co-founder of SmarterRelationships.com and has been providing psychotherapy for over 40 years, working in private practice in Denver since 1976. Specializing in addiction, marriage and family, adolescents, and chronic illness, Steve received his Masters of Social Work from the George Warren Brown School of Social Work at Washington University in St. Louis. In addition to his practice, Steve co-founded the Denver Family Institute and sits on the Board of Directors of the National Center for Intervention which he also co-founded. Steve is a Clinical Member and Approved Supervisor of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. He was named Therapist of the Year by the Colorado branch of the AAMFT for 2010. Steve also has been on the faculty of the University of Denver Graduate School of Social Work since 1979 and Senior Professor on the faculty of the Denver Family Institute since 1982. Training, supervision, and consulting are a continual part of his practice.
