55 Plus or Minus: March Madness (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798670399395)

Jack's back. Semi-retired police detective Jack McConner lives in the 55-Plus upscale retirement community of Vintner's Reserve. The posh neighborhood easily qualifies as one of the best places to live in the City of Yakima. The aging residents stay active. People get to know their neighbors. The condos are well-built, the grounds immaculately landscaped, and the gated community is so secure people don't bother locking their doors. As we reenter the world of Vintner's Reserve, we're just in time to see Jack's gorgeous girlfriend, Maree Wexley, losing her cool. It happens on a crazy night in March. With the promise of some significant snow on the way, Jack's best friends are all out of town visiting warmer climes-a group he fondly refers to as the Burger Bunch. Things go from bad to worse when a horrific fire at one of the homes on the far end of the community ends in a tragic and shocking death. With the local police short-staffed, Jack's detective skills are in high demand. But little does he realize the power of the real storm about to hit-a storm coming in the shape of a captivating and complex woman. Though he saved her from a kidnapper a month earlier, Jack's never spent much time with Heather Hill. Heather is the community's sexy and legendary gossip. And whether Jack's ready or not, she's set to pull out all the stops to win his love.March Madness is book three in the 55 Plus or Minus series. The series starts with Don't Know Jack (Book 1), picks back up in Hidden Treasure (Book 2), and March Madness (Book 3), and continues in Tunnel Vision (Book4).
