7777 - A thrilling new novel by Suzanne Mondoux takes you on an unexpected journey This work of fiction between Earth humans and Somnium humans in the visionary and dystopian genres will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end. It is, by far, the most unexpected and refreshing story ever told. By the year 7077, males, known as Ignas, lose their ability to dream, leading to madness and cruelty. Females, although not entirely healthy, give birth to a new life force called Vitalem, essential for survival. The interplanetary combat in a bid for salvation and survival threatens Somnium's peaceful existence. Ukir, an Earth human, rules his male society with an iron fist. Will Flora, a Somnium human and the whole of Somnium inhabitants survive the arrival of Earth humans. This book mixes sci-fi, fantasy, history and fiction to bring the reader on a journey of unexpected turns of events. The many confrontations, discoveries, and brave journeys of different characters daubed with atmospheric and emotionally charged strokes of poetic description, offering lots of twists and turns to tug at the heartstrings. Beyond its imaginative setting, the narrative moves into the psychological depth of its characters, illustrating their struggle and resilience against authoritarian control. This captivating novel is an ideological battle of the sexes. A novel of originality and insight that ranks with the best of visionary fiction. This is a book that will likely be read more than once to savor its many captivating dimensions.
