A Beginner's Guide to Cardslinging: A Simple, Straightforward Guide to Get You off the Fence and Ready to Sling (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9789493250284)

Life consists not in holding good cards but in playing those you hold well.

-Josh Billings

So you want to sling cards, too?

Whether you've been on the fence about starting your own cardslinging journey, or you've just started working with cards and still feel incredibly new to the practice, A Beginner's Guide to Cardslinging will help you ease into it.

This brief, straightforward guide:

• provides a basic introduction to different card-based divination systems,
• gives tips on how to pick a deck, cleanse it, and get to know it,
• teaches you how to start interpreting your cards and what kinds of questions to ask,
• and includes some card spreads for you to try as well as a long list of recommended (re)sources for further research.

Mariëlle S. Smith, author of Tarot for Creatives and Tarot for Entrepreneurs, sat on the fence for years before she took the leap and finally got herself a card deck. It's coming up to a decade since she did, and it's still one of the best decisions she's ever made for herself. She wrote this beginner's guide for everyone ready to do the same.
