During a study of the Sermon on the Mount in Matthew, I noticed that fasting was not discussed with the same background and interest as the other topics from Jesus's teachings. It seemed a study that looked at Bible scriptures on fasting might be beneficial.

Understanding what is expected of Christians provides a tool to improve our relationship with our Lord.
