The problem for her was that there were people with other such plans around. The law was looking for some of them as well. She had enemies among them that allowed her to live if she was useful to them. She came back to that area because she missed her former high school and college lover and roommate, Cody Carpenter. He graduated from college in pre-med with drug use problems. She loved to travel with him by motorcycle. She liked being his girlfriend and had no interest in being his fourth wife.
