Theresa Rose Grosjean Womeldorf was born in 1948 in the rural community of Curtice, Ohio (a few miles from Lake Erie). She was the fourth of 6 children born to Ruth (Muir) and Charles Grosjean. Theresa's father died when she was three years old, which left her mother with the responsibility of raising six children by herself. Theresa was taught about God's love as a child, raised in the Catholic faith. She was taught to rely on God for all needs since her mother had no answers for her children except "God will watch over you". Theresa was filled with poetry from the nursery rhymes on the playroom floor to the gospel songs she sang with her mother. Theresa and family moved to Wellston, Ohio when she was in high school where she met and fell in love with Von E. Womeldorf. After Theresa completed nursing school and Von completed four years in the US Navy, they married and are blessed with three sons and daughter-in laws: Matthew (Mari), Eric (Carly) and Adam (Brittany) and also seven grandchildren and one due in 2018: Mattisyn, Isabella, Blake, Camryn, Macy, Kinslee, Chloe plus little Sammy to make his appearance in 2018. Theresa furthered her education and became a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator. God placed her in a vocation where she could serve Him and His people every day. She served at Jenkins Memorial Health Facility for 42 years and retired from there in 2013. She now serves as a part-time instructor to train nurse aides. Entering her senior years, she continues to watch every day for God's calling on her life. He has led her to write and she strives to follow His promptings.
