She trusted them implicitly, however when push came to shove, their loyalties laid with their son, and she was not allowed contact with her sons. Meanwhile, her daughter looked to the author for the guidance and support she so desperately wanted, thus somewhat repairing the rift between them. Somewhat. Some of the poetry in this book just reflects the unique views of the author, politically, religiously and philosophically.
