A Dark Secret in Savannah (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798235628021)

When estate sale specialist Sydney Nash begins clearing out the home of a quiet elderly woman, she expects to find little more than vintage china, worn furniture, and a handful of antiques destined for auction.

Instead, she uncovers a shocking secret: financial records indicating the woman had been living under the identity of her childhood best friend, who vanished without a trace more than fifty years ago. As if that weren't enough, Sydney discovers anonymous blackmail notes demanding money so as not to reveal the woman's deception.

With the help of her inquisitive black cat, Jinx, Sydney follows a trail of long-buried clues that someone desperately wanted to keep hidden. Can they finally uncover the truth behind a disappearance that has haunted a community for more than half a century?
