A Demon's Wing: a Lion Shifters novel (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798317447267)

Shifts happen. Hearts change. Africa awaits.

Summoned to Kenya by a dying witch, Grace Elkhart can't wait to leave. She agrees to stay only long enough to help her cousin Emma establish some law and order in Nairobi. Being a Demon, Grace has the power to do that. But settle down? Join Emma's Pride? There are too many reasons against it, starting with Jed Kiprop, the only man to ever break her Demon heart.

As a lion Shifter, Jed knows he needs to join a Pride... eventually. Now that his eldest brother King has formed one, it should be an easy choice. Except his brother's mate has a Demon in her family. And that's one Paranorm Jed refuses to share space with, especially when it's Grace, a woman he once loved before she betrayed him.

When a family tragedy and a king's command force Jed and Grace to work together, sparks fly despite their mutual distrust. But will they be able to overcome their pride and prejudice in time to save the Pride and each other from an ancient enemy?

★★★★★ "Falling in love with a series is some times hard to when you start out and things seem slow. Not in this book, not at all. Was exciting from the first page to the last." -- Athena Lee Brown

★★★★★ "Wow! This series keeps getting better and better. The mystery, intrigue and romance will keep you glued to the book, but it's the real life issues, such as forgiveness and self worth, that make you realize that this is not a normal paranormal/shifter book." -- DD

★★★★★ "Ms. Wilde did a great job of Nairobi world-building as the paranormal world is seamlessly blended with 21st century society. Not only is the plot well written, but all of the characters are individually unique and believable... I definitely recommend it." -- Rural Reader

★★★★★ "This world is populated by shifters, witches, African-style vampires, and even gods from African folklore! There are also several species of shape-shifting "demons" that have nothing to do with the Christian Hell and are no more evil than humans, although they are shunned by the rest of the Paranorm community." -- Diana in SC AudiobooksObsession

★★★★★ "I highly recommend this book, and the entire series to anyone who appreciates well crafted writing and unique characters who are everyday people who happen to be paranormal." -- Linda D
