A Discovery of Dragons: Boreas' Tribes Saga Book One (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9781967125043)

Loe will transition in seven months, leaving behind everything familiar to emerge into a world unknown, Boreas.

Growing up in a high-tech installation full of humanoids, holograms, and droids, Loe learns they are a Seedling, part of an 8000-year-old program to re-diversify the world's genetic pool. Boreas, once the epicenter of a galactic empire, is clawing its way back out of the rubble of its downfall to build a society without technology, striving toward balance.

In this world, Loe and her fellow Seedlings will enter The Academe, an elite training program where both Seedlings and surface-born find their place. But nothing is that simple, and balance is not so easily found. Elders are being assassinated, and Loe soon discovers that standing out in The Academe is dangerous.

As the students in The Academe find their way, together, Loe learns that not everything on Boreas is as it seems. Caught between their Academe training and the mysterious ones in gray, Loe stands at the cusp of another major change for Boreas, and it's bigger than anyone imagined.

Magic and dragons exist only in half-forgotten folktales...or do they? Magic makes for toasty feet...

A Discovery of Dragons is the first book of the Boreas' Tribes Saga, written in multiple first person POV, and straddles Fantasy, Sci-Fi, and Utopian Speculative Fiction with a dusting of romance. The Saga is a brand-new vision of what a world could be with a positive outlook and strong elements of hope.
