A Fine Day for Fishing (Paperback) (ISBN-13: 9798235619302)

Goodnight, and screw you all.

Elderly Roger Fulton's dying wish is to exact a little payback on his neglectful family, on his uncaring son Danny and Danny's errant wife, Marion. As he walks up Beech Hill to his death, however, he makes a shocking discovery.

With his last, desperate breath he scratches two letters into the earth.

What did Roger see? Who is he trying to name?

Schoolgirl Penny Summers can't believe her luck when the bully who torments her fails to show up for school. Soon, however, she finds herself drawn into a murder investigation, and the eyes of suspicion turn towards her, particularly those of a sinister figure in fisherman's garb who appears to be following her.

As the fisherman closes in, solving the riddle that Roger Fulton left behind might be the only way to save Penny from a similarly gruesome death.

A Fine Day for Fishing is a domestic thriller that will leave you on the edge of your seat. For fans of Mark Edwards, Kerry Beavis, and Paula Hawkins, Chris Ward's new novel is one not to be missed.
