Rita Bourland writes on her blog at www.embracingepiphanies.com. Her writing includes short stories and poetry for children and adults. She has been featured on NPR's Three Minute Fiction, had articles selected as Editor's Picks by Open Salon and poetry chosen by fellow writers as Readers' Favorites. She recently branched out into artwork, combining poetry with photography, and had a piece selected into the Elusive Nature juried art show in Upper Arlington, Ohio. This book grew out of a personal challenge to write one Halloween poem every day during the month of October. A Halloween Brew of Poems Just for You is a collection of some of her favorites. She was fortunate to find a talented illustrator in Se疣 Sweeney to bring her poems to life. Rita has a Psychology degree from Indiana University. She and her husband, Mike, live in Columbus, Ohio and have three adult sons.
