Nash also provides insight into the legal systems of these countries and the differences between them. The second half of the book covers Nash's experiences in America, where he practiced law for over 20 years. He discusses his work as a corporate lawyer and his involvement in some of the major legal cases of the time. Nash also reflects on the differences between the legal systems in Europe and America, and offers his opinions on the strengths and weaknesses of each. Throughout the book, Nash provides a fascinating glimpse into the life of a lawyer during this time period. He offers insights into the legal profession, as well as the political and social climate of the countries where he worked.
