As an eight year old I may not have realised what a love writing would become for me. I can still remember writing my first story when I was that age. In fact, I wrote and re-wrote "The Snow That Was Confetti" so many times that it seemed unlikely that I would ever write anything else. Many years later I broke free from the snow-confetti continuum and progressed to writing about stuffed animals and characters with strange names. Since I started writing poetry at the age of fifteen it has become a regular outlet for my emotions, imagination and fantastical creatures. Many years later, I started compiling some of my old poems and these, along with many new ones, have resulted in the "A Little Bit of" series of poetry books. I released "A Little Bit of Everything" on National Poetry Day in 2014 and will be releasing more books in the series in 2015.
