Paula started out as a poet and was inspired by God to write a novel. With a vision in her head about the two different characters, she decided to start writing. Before she knew it, she had a book that was ready to be published As an African-American author, she wants to portray strong black women and their relationships with men. Paula hopes to dispel the stereotypes of African-American players and give a glimpse into letting God lead the way. Her self-published book is about sticking to yourself and your morals by highlighting the godly presence found in relationships. Paula plans to continue bringing more books to the world, and eventually wants to write plays. Her writings cover different topics she sees in church and the world that do not get talked about often enough. Inspired by God and the people in her life, she shows admiration and understanding of difficult times through her characters.
